John and I were classmates in school. His name was always after mine during rollcall. Although it was fair to say we had different circles of friends, we always acknowledged each other and I remember the nice phone call I received from him when he organised  the 1994/5 School reunion. Even at the 2019 reunion we did share reminisces from our school days. I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to celebrate his life with his family and friends . RIP John x
