I first met John in Hendrefoilan student accommodation (Swansea University) in 1974. We were enthusiastic trainee teacher postgraduates. And Kathryn and Sue - our girlfriends (later to be wives - oh lucky us!) would visit us along with 6 other male student residents and give the place a makeover tidy up! 

We have kept in touch ever since (well Kathryn and Sue did!) and have met up in various places, loved the fishing stories and garden tours complete with bees which our younger son discovered. And I have got the CD.

John will be forever in our thoughts.
